Matthew 23:11-12

The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:11, 12 NIV)

So different from what the world teaches us, isn't it? Lord help me to look at Your life and mimic Your Words and Your actions. Looking at You and how You lived is the only way for me to truly know how to do what You've asked of me in the verses above. Thank You for setting such a great example and for being so graceful, forgiving, and merciful with me when I don't live up to the standards You've set! You are an awesome God and I want all of my life to glorify You! I pray these things in Your Holy Son's name, Jesus...Amen!
