We have to trust God when we feel Him telling us to do something. He won't steer us in the wrong direction.

1 John 2:1-6
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not
sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the
Father in our defense - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He
is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours
but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we
have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who
says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a
liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his
word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how
we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must
walk as Jesus did.

Mark 10:42-45
How many of us can say we are cool with what these verses are telling us to do??? Hard to swallow, but extremely rewarding when put to practice. God Bless!
Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those
who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over
them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great
among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be
first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not
come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a
ransom for many."

1 Corinthians 10:12-13
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you
don't fall! No temptation has seized you except what is
common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be
tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,
he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up
under it.

1 John 1:5-7 Light v. Darkness
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to
you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we
claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness,
we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the
light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one
another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from
all sin.

Happy 2nd Birthday Holy Bloggers :)
So yesterday was this blog's 2nd Birthday! Hard to believe it has been 2 years since I started it. I pray for continued growth and for God to use this blog to touch lives and bring people closer to Him in ways I could never imagine.
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I
am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so
that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display
his unlimited patience as an example for those who would
believe on him and receive eternal life.
